Today, I'm sharing some daily journal prompts for mental health, that can be used for anxiety, depression and general mental health. I've recently started bullet journaling, and here's a few journal prompts and ideas that I hope to use throughout the year, which you may find helpful too!
Journal Prompts for Mental Health
Write about something that made you smile recently
Make a list of compliments that you've received
What's holding you back? How will you overcome it?
What secrets are you hiding, let it all out.
Write about a happy memory
Describe your future plans, what steps will you take to achieve them?
What has your mental illness taught you about yourself?
What comforts you when you are feeling sad?
Get something off your chest. Vent it out.
Make a list of your favourite self-care activities
Write about a time you felt strong emotions
What motivates you in life?
Which book(s) do you relate to most?
Make a list of things that make you happy
Write down any worries, and how you plan to overcome them.
Write a letter to your future self
What are ten things that you're grateful for?
What do you hope to achieve this year?
Which song lyrics do you relate to the most?
Make a list of five things that you're thankful for today.
What are your favourite coping mechanisms?
Who inspires you?
What is one thing that you're excited for?
Write a letter to your past self.
When were you last proud of yourself and your achievements?
Doodle something that is meaningful to you.
What makes you unique?
What does happiness mean to you?
Describe a recent dream.
Who has been influential to you in your life?
